Every Body Texas Supports Release of Final Title X Family Planning Rule

Austin, TX – Today, the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) released its final rule for the Title X program. The following is a statement from Matt Thompson, Interim Title X Director at Every Body Texas, the statewide Title X administrator.

“We are deeply grateful that the Biden administration has rescinded the 2019 Title X rule today and made important improvements to a public health program that more than 150,000 Texans rely on. The final rule demonstrates that the Biden administration is deeply committed to improving health equity in our nation’s family planning program so that all people can access safe, high-quality, unbiased sexual and reproductive healthcare they need.”
